Built from the ground up.
MySol Holdings and Logistics was established in 2018 with a focused mandate to drive meaningful economic empowerment in communities surrounding mining operations.
From 38 people to a multi-site mining operation.
The company was founded on the principle that mining should create lasting value beyond extraction, ensuring that economic benefits reach local communities in a tangible and sustainable manner.
At inception, MySol operated with approximately 38 employees. By 2025, the workforce had expanded to an estimated 2,500 employees, reflecting the rapid growth of its mining operations and project footprint.
This growth has been underpinned by increasing operational complexity, multi-site deployment, and the ability to manage multiple mining contracts simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and performance.
Owned capability creates control.
MySol Holdings and Logistics has transitioned from reliance on hired equipment in its early years to operating with approximately 95% ownership of its active mining fleet. This strategic shift has enhanced operational control, reliability and cost efficiency across all sites.
The company’s owned fleet includes:
- Drilling rigs
- Front-end loaders
- Excavators
- Articulated dump trucks (ADTs)
- Associated support equipment
These machines are actively deployed across operational projects and support large-scale opencast mining activities, enabling MySol to deliver consistent production outcomes.
Production capacity has grown from approximately 50,000 tons of chrome ore per month at formation to up to 450,000 tons per month by 2025, depending on operational scope and site conditions. MySol has accumulated experience across eight distinct mining operations, demonstrating its ability to scale and sustain high-volume production.
Mining should create value that lasts.
MySol’s core purpose is to uplift local communities by creating sustainable employment opportunities, combating unemployment and contributing to crime reduction through meaningful work.
The company prioritises skills development, the strengthening of the black economy and the empowerment of African entrepreneurs to participate actively in industrial and mining value chains.
Social impact is central to MySol’s business model. Through its operations, the company creates employment not only within its own workforce but also across subsidiary and support industries, stimulating broader economic activity.
By fostering industrial development and investing in local skills, MySol contributes to long-term infrastructure development that benefits surrounding communities beyond the life of individual mining projects. The company’s approach ensures that mining activity serves as a catalyst for sustainable community upliftment, economic inclusion and long-term regional development.
